De call voor Action Planning Networks 2023 is inmiddels gesloten, vanaf 30 mei 2023 wordt duidelijk welke steden de komende 2,5 jaar te werk gaan in hun Action Planning Networks. Wij wensen alle indieners ontzettend veel succes en hopen veel Nederlandse steden te mogen verwelkomen in de URBACT familie!

  • Breda wordt in 2030 een stad in het park: zo gaat dat gebeuren!

    URBACT Health & Greenspace

    Breda (NL) wil in 2030 als eerste Europese stad een stad in een park zijn en doet aan Urbact mee met het planproces voor de herontwikkeling van het huidig kazerneterrein Seelig-Zuid naar een openbaar stadspark: het Seelig Park. Om deze ambitie waar te maken, zullen echter concrete maatregelen moeten worden genomen, deze zijn te lezen in het nieuwe Groenkompas. Het Groenkompas is de uitwerking van één van de pijlers van het Verhaal van Breda, Groen, Grenzeloos en Gastvrij en een belangrijk onderdeel van de Omgevingsvisie. Daarin wordt onder meer uitgelegd hoe straten bij renovatie altijd 10% groener moeten, hoe bij nieuwbouw minimaal 20% van de nieuwe wijk openbaar groen moet zijn en welke nieuwe parken Breda de komende jaren rijker gaat worden.

  • Pionierende URBACT Netwerken: URGE Utrecht - Interview met Harry Hofman

    In het URBACT programma zijn verschillende netwerken actief waarin verschillende Nederlandse steden deelnemen. In de reeks ‘pionierende URBACT Netwerken’ lichten we verschillende URBACT netwerken met Nederlandse partners uit. In dit artikel staat het Action Planning Netwerk URGE (circUlaR buildinG citiEs) centraal. Utrecht is een de lead partner van dit netwerk. Het URGE netwerk werkt aan Action Plans om circulariteit in de bouw te promoten. Utrecht is de thuisbasis van veel bedrijven die vooroplopen op het gebied van circulair bouwen. Sommige bedrijven zijn al meer dan 10 jaar actief! Eén van deze bedrijven is GBN, een bouwbedrijf dat werkt aan het hergebruik van bouwmaterialen en elementen. Het URGE-netwerk Utrecht sprak met Harry Hofman – directeur circulaire materialen bij GBN – over het verleden, het heden en de toekomst van de circulaire bouw in Utrecht.

Urbact Nederland Infomiddag 24 januari 2023

NUP Nederland organiseert op 24 januari van 14.00 tot 16.30 uur een informatiemiddag over deze call. We gaan in op de indieningsprocedure, de opzet van een Action Planning Network en de planning daarvan. Ook besteden we aandacht aan het zoeken en vinden van partners en hoe het NUP daarbij kan helpen. De bijeenkomst zal worden georganiseerd bij Platform31 in Den Haag (boven het Centraal Station). Infomiddag Action Planning Networks 31 januari 2023

Voor nieuwe steden die deel willen nemen aan een Action Planning Netwerk (APN) organiseert NUP Nederland een online bijeenkomst over de Urbact methode. Deze vindt plaats op 31 januari van 13.00 tot 15.00 uur.
