Summary
I hold a PhD in regional planning and public policy. I have been working as advisor/expert and researcher for 15 years in Italy, France, in Belgium for the European Urban Initiative and more recently for the New European Bauhaus labelling strategy.
As an advisor I have worked with transdisciplinary teams mostly on regeneration plans in low-income neighbourhoods, with a focus on how to improve the quality and inclusiveness of public space. As a researcher I have explored the concept of spatial justice, in both its theoretical and empirical dimensions, as it is inextricably linked to notions and issues of inclusiveness, diversity, accessibility.
